The world's largest offshore register: no weight or age limit, private or commercial use, a dedicated mortgage register and a first-tier insurance and financing ecosystem.
Key facts
Bermuda is the largest offshore aircraft register (a British Overseas Territory). It allows private and commercial use (commercial only where the principal place of business is in Bermuda) and imposes no weight or age limit. Eligible owners include Commonwealth and EU/EEA nationals and entities or Bermuda exempt companies, and demise charter is available. There are no direct taxes; the register maintains its own mortgage register with priority notices and supports 83 bis agreements.
A first-tier financial centre (insurance and reinsurance); accounts are workable with rigorous KYC.
Bermuda validates EASA and FAA licences, complies with ICAO Annex 6 Part II and is compatible with EASA Part-NCC. The CAMO must hold a Bermuda (BCAA / OTAR) approval, but it can be located anywhere.
Large jets, the absence of any weight limit, a commercial component, or where prestige and the insurance and financing ecosystem matter. A premium alternative to the Isle of Man.
Flyxchain designs and implements the ownership and operating structure end to end — holding and SPV setup, jurisdiction and registry selection, financing, and the continuing-airworthiness chain (CAMO and maintenance) — independently and always on the buyer's side.
